Job description

The service engineer works in a highly specialized field involving the maintenance, repair and calibration of equipment used in medical institutions such as hospitals, clinics, laboratories and imaging centers.

Equipment serviced includes radiation protection systems, surgical lights, blood irradiation equipment, GammaKnife and other advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies.

Location: Brasov or Bucharest, with national travel
Tip job: Full-time / Part-time

Key responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance and repair of medical equipment
• Diagnosing and fixing technical problems
• Testing and calibrating equipment to safety standards
• Training medical staff on the correct use of equipment
• Working with suppliers/manufacturers for software updates and spare parts
• Technical reporting and documentation of service activities

Skills needed

• Higher education in medical engineering, electronics, automation or related fields
• Previous experience in servicing medical equipment is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of electronics, fine mechanics and computerized systems
• Analytical and technical problem solving skills
• Team-working and good communication skills
• Driving license category B
